My name is Calvin Hill, I am the author of Staying Fit After 60. I am introducing The Exercise For Life Program. I am making parts of this book available on this website to give you a preview of what this book is all about. I hope you enjoy.
I know many of you may wonder why someone would wait until they are 76 years old to write a book about exercise and fitness. What explanations could I have which would be plausible and make practical sense? I believe almost every action or reaction which someone commits to life; is an expression of one's core values and the steadfast rules by which they govern their lives, and serve as the justification for those actions.
For me to believe in any system or program, I have to have indisputable and irrefutable proof, as to the value and beneficial results of that particular program. The purpose of this book, is to introduce you to the health and life-saving benefits of The Exercise For Life Program ; which is a method of becoming physically and mentally fit and being able to retain that fitness as you age to your 60s 70s and even 80s and beyond. After doing The Exercise For Life Program for 16 years, I have proven to myself, The Exercise For Life Program works spectacularly. It has exceeded my greatest expectations, and is the best exercise program for becoming physically and mentally fit and remaining that way. You don’t have to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on expensive gym memberships or hiring a personal trainer; or buying expensive exercise equipment. Every exercise in The Exercise For Life Program can be done in the comfort of your own home. If you are still wondering; why I wrote this book at age 76, 16 years after I began The Exercise For Life Program? Remember I did not begin The Exercise For Life Program until age 60. I could not in good conscious, advise you to do something I had not done thousands of times myself. I have done The Exercise For Life Program almost 6000 times myself; and experienced personally the benefits of the physical and mental fitness it has added to the quality of my life. I have included some lighter moments in this book such as, “Oh God I Hate getting Old” and a chapter where I encourage you to look back and recall incidents and episodes in your own life, some warm and wonderful, some not so warm and not so wonderful. That chapter is “Reflections of Life”. Reflections of Life allows you to take an Honest, sincere, Wonderful, Genuine, Straightforward and Candid look at yourself and view how your life has unfolded. Although, I digress in parts of this book and discuss other areas of one’s life. The most important reason for writing this book is to introduce you to, The Exercise For Life Program and explain the life saving benefits this program has for your physical health and your mental well being. It is my sincere belief, after you have read this book, you will be able to look back and reflect upon your life; while looking forward to a long and healthy existence with The Exercise For Life Program.
